Rolled Slip Lead

Our slip leads are made with rolled Biothane® to allow for better function of its mechanism to tighten under strain and release when the strain subsides. These leashes are great training tools or leads in a pinch to slip over your dog's head if they aren't wearing a collar, as well as a great option for rescue situations. All our slip leads are made with brass hardware. 

When correctly adjusted, a slip lead should sit behind the jaw, right at the base of the neck behind the ears of your dog. The aim is to secure it snugly enough to prevent your dog from slipping out, but loosely enough to ensure your dog's comfort.

We recommend using a slip lead with guidance from a professional dog trainer - they are not meant for heavy pullers who do not understand leash pressure.
